How It Works
My most frequently asked question as a celebrant is couples asking “so how does this all work?” To answer this I’ve outlined how I work below.
Meet & Greet
With no cost or obligation, we’ll set up a time to meet (in person or virtually) where we’ll have the opportunity to get to know one another, answer any questions you may have and for you to decide if we’re a good fit.
Up & Running
At the ‘meet and greet’ or soon after you’ll decide if I am the right celebrant for you. We then make it all official with the completion of some official paperwork. We’d spend some time together to really get to know you both as individuals and as a couple. We’d start to sketch out the ceremony, understand what you both want and importantly what you don’t want.
First Draft
I’ll listen, gather information as we chat and create a first draft of the ceremony for you both to review.
Fine Tuning
We can back and forth via email, phone or meet again in person or virtually, to fine-tune the ceremony with any feedback you have and confirm all the logistical details.
Rehearsal
If required, we’ll get together at the venue to run through how everything will work on your wedding day.
The Big Day
I’ll be there in plenty of time and your ceremony will be my one and only for the day. You’ll be my focus. I’ll be there to ensure everything is set up as you wanted and to oversee the ceremony to its conclusion and, of course, to offer my congratulations and wish you both well.
